Mindfulness for a Happy Self and a Healthy Family

The ASU Center for Mindfulness, Compassion and Resilience team will be offering this presentation in an effort to provide the community with stress-reduction tools and to empower attendees to live a happier, healthier lives.

This presentation is designed for the entire community, but we encourage parents and caregivers to attend. Mindfulness is one strategy that can reduce the stress of being a parent. Practicing mindfulness means paying attention to what’s happening in the moment and accepting those experiences and feelings without judgment. The presentation is geared towards ages 13 and up, but we will follow the presentation with a special Yoga Storytime for families of young children!

We encourage those with and without children to attend the Mindfulness Presentation!
