Random Crafts of Kindness

Teens! Craft it forward in this unique makerspace program. Projects include making superhero capes for children in hospitals or shelters, making paracord bracelets for troops or first responders, making comfort mats and toys for animals in shelters, and making art to inspire others.

In some cases, you can gain extra community service hours while you help support causes or build relationships with charities or nonprofits. This type of service creates meaningful opportunities to make a difference and is beneficial when applying for college or jobs.

Random Crafts of Kindness is a free program and meets from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at Desert Broom Library.

Join is for a culturally rich evening celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month. Learn about the diverse countries who share a common language but each enjoy a unique, vibrant culture.  This special celebration will begin with a sampling of gorgeous Hispanic writing. Then join in a spirited game of loteria and finish by creating a keepsake take home craft. 

This program is for adults. No children or teens please.
