Mike Abramowitz, Director for the Center of the Prevention of Genocide and former Washington Post columnist and several ASU faculty from the Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication will join for a lively conversation on the relationship between the media and propaganda. The panel will discuss historical examples, as well as modern cases, of media both facilitating and opposing propaganda efforts. The program complements the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's traveling exhibit, State of Deception: The Power of Nazi Propaganda.
