Kindergarten Bootcamp

Is your child entering kindergarten in Fall 2018? If so, join a Kindergarten Bootcamp! This interactive series meets once a week for 7 weeks and gives families a taste of kindergarten. Parents and children learn together the social, academic, and classroom skills needed for school success. Receive free tools and activities each week leading up to Bootcamp graduation.

Registration is required and by registering you agree to attend all 7 weeks. This series meets on the following Saturdays: 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4

This program is only for children entering kindergarten in Fall 2018. Not entering kindergarten in Fall 2018? Check out Preschool Prep.

Dia de los Muertos Mini Altars

Many countries celebrate the beginning of November as All Saints Day, All Souls Day or, in the Southwest and parts of the Americas, el Dia de los Muertos. This is a ritual blend of indigenous and Catholic traditions. El Dia de los Muertos is celebrated in many parts of the world as a time to remember loved ones and honor their memory. 

Children aged 5-12 please join us on Sunday, October 22, from 2 to 3 pm at Yucca Library. We will be making our own mini altars, using pencil boxes, mod podge and odds 'n ends from our craft closet.

Free Computer Classes-Basic Skills II
