Do you like board games? Card games? Tabletop games that defy description? We do too. That’s why we invite you to Level Up! Monster Mash with us at the Juniper Library.

 

While some people are content to just play games...we know you want to do more. You want to MAKE the games and because it’s October, you want to make them spooky-style! 

 

We’ll talk about what makes games work, what makes them fun, and how to design them.

Then we will challenge YOU to make a game!  At the end of the program we will have games that everyone can play!

 

This program is part of a research grant partnership with ASU. Attendees will be interviewed and recorded for research purposes. Attendees will be required to have a photo release form filled out by their guardian on file. 

 

Registration required.  For ages 8-14.

Kindergarten Bootcamp

Is your child entering kindergarten in Fall 2018? If so, join a Kindergarten Bootcamp! This interactive series meets once a week for 7 weeks and gives families a taste of kindergarten. Parents and children learn together the social, academic, and classroom skills needed for school success. Receive free tools and activities each week leading up to Bootcamp graduation.

Registration is required and by registering you agree to attend all 7 weeks. This series meets on the following dates: October 16, October 23, October 30, November 13, November 20, November 27, and December 4 (no class November 6).

This program is only for children entering kindergarten in Fall 2018. Not entering kindergarten in Fall 2018? Check out Preschool Prep.
