Desert Broom Knitters

Knitters of all ages and skill levels (including absolute beginners!) are invited to gather in the small conference room to work on existing projects, start new ones, and share tips and techniques. General instruction given includes learning the basics — how to cast on, making the knit stitch, purling, and binding off at the end of a finished piece. Specific projects are also taught. 
Pre-registration is required for this ongoing activity, now in its seventh year. 

Please bring knitting needles and yarn if you have them. Each monthly drop-in group session lasts 60 minutes. Group leader is an experienced instructor, knitting guild member, and established knitwear designer with published original patterns for hand knitters. 
There are no fees; this is a free activity in a fun format! Time: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Day: Fourth (4th) Saturday of each month
