"Mapping" -- Carolina Escobar

Friday, May 26, 2017
Burton Barr Central Library
Carolina Escobar's images are inspired by years of living in the desert infused with many years spent in the tropics.  Her drawings are an exploration of color, each beginning with a familiar desert plant morphed into tropical plants, flowers, architectural structures—some even take on a human quality.

First Friday reception 6-8 PM, May 5.
Join us for an artist's reception and performances of "The Kids' Table", an original play by Rising Youth Theatre, at 6 pm and 7:15 pm. The reception is supported by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library.
