We READ 30-day Challenge

Make reading a habit by taking the We READ 30-day challenge! Kids, birth to 12, read (or are read to) for 30 days anytime between February 1 and April 1. It's easy! Just pick up a gameboard at any Phoenix Public Library and mark off each day that children read (outside of school).

Children may visit the library for a Treasure Chest prize after 15 days and earn a free We READ t-shirt designed by a local artist after 30 days. Grown-ups who read to children for 30 days earn a free reusable tote bag (perfect for library books!)

Join us for a STEM program on the first and third Sunday of the month. The first Sunday will be a LEGO® Block Party. Second and fourth Sundays we will show a SciFi Family Movie.  Third Sunday will feature Science Investigations, special programs by local science providers. Limit 30 participants in Science Investigations programs. Science Sunday is supported by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library, Juniper Chapter.
