Summer Reading Game
Play the online summer reading game June 1 through August 1. Sign up at maricopacountyreads.org Earn 1 point for every minute of reading, plus additional points for earning event and activity badges. At 250 points, every reader earns a free food coupon from Chipotle or Raising Cane. At 500 points, every reader earns a free book of their choice. Children ages 6-11 who sign up at the library will receive a free digital reading timer (limited to first 10,000 readers) and kids who read 20 minutes a day will be eligible for fabulous weekly drawing prizes. Reading over the summer is fun, and it keeps your brain tuned up. So discover your inner hero this summer and crack a book! #everyherohasastory

Join us in celebrating 65 years of Harmon Library! Harmon has been an anchor in the community, providing services, programs and a place for people to gather for generations. City dignitaries will kick off the celebrations at 11:00 AM followed by fun activities for the whole family from noon – 2:00 PM. Come plant seeds or decorate your own book bag. Help us paint a mural. Browse for great items at a book sale benefitting Friends of Phoenix Public Library. Additional activities will be provided by Fathers Matter.
