We READ 30-day Challenge

Make reading a habit by taking the We READ 30-day challenge! Kids, birth to 12, read (or are read to) for 30 days anytime between February 1 and April 1. It's easy! Just pick up a gameboard at any Phoenix Public Library and mark off each day that children read (outside of school).

Children may visit the library for a Treasure Chest prize after 15 days and earn a free We READ t-shirt designed by a local artist after 30 days. Grown-ups who read to children for 30 days earn a free reusable tote bag (perfect for library books!)

This program is designed for children three and older accompanied by a favorite adult. Your kids are natural scientists. You can help them discover the world, build vocabulary and master basic science concepts.
