Orlagh, the gentle Golden Retriever, is an excellent listerner for emerging readers.  Children 7-12 years old and accompanied by a favorite adult are invited to come read to Orlagh, who is a registered therapy dog.  Bring your own book or choose one from the library collection.

Join the Cesar Chavez Knitting/Crocheting Group on the 2nd Saturday and 4th Wednesday of every month to learn how to knit or crochet.  Come share your knitting/crocheting expertise with the group as well.  Please bring your own supplies.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Your kids are natural scientists. You can help them discover the world, build vocabulary and master basic science concepts.

This 45 minute performance spotlights, Zarco Guerrero, who portrays the life and times of iconic figure, Cesar Chavez, through his unique masked characters and humorous style of story-telling. Zarco puts Chavez’s life and accomplishments into perspective in a delightful and engaging way in this family oriented show. Carmen Guerrero sings the music of the farm workers labor movement. Cesar’s words of wisdom and history of the period are highlighted in this performance. No registration and all ages welcome!
