Share books, stories, music, and activities in a fun interactive program that builds early literacy skills and introduces children to science and math. This program is designed for children two to five years old accompanied by a favorite adult. What is your child learning? Children who can count, recognize geometric shapes and patterns and are eager to explore the world around them will be better prepared to succeed in kindergarten. Your kids are natural scientists. You can help them discover the world, build vocabulary and master basic science concepts. #pplstorytime #discoverytime

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS PROGRAM.  To register, click here.

This class meets on the following dates: June 15th, June 22nd, June 29th, July 6th, July 13th, July 20th, and July 27th.   Attendance is expected at all 7 classes.

Kindergarten Bootcamp gives parents tools, information, and activities to help prepare their children for school success in a fun, educational, and interactive setting. The series consists of seven sessions, 1 hour each, for children who are preparing to enter kindergarten in Fall 2016 along with their parent or caregiver. Under the guidance of an early literacy specialist, parents and caregivers work with their children on foundational skills which have been demonstrated to be the most important for both a successful kindergarten and school experience. It is important that parents and children attend every session including Week 7 graduation!

Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Learn more at FirstThingsFirstAZ.gov.
