FACTS OF LIFE VOL.1--Gloria Langer 6/10/2016 12:00:00 AM
FACTS OF LIFE VOL.1--Gloria Langer
Langer describes this series of paintings as a reflection on a new reality of fast paced images and information.  In a society where almost everything is about image and surface, she hopes to convey a window of introspection and analysis.

A First Friday reception with the artist will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on July 1. Live music will be performed by Dale Yeoman and Johnny Carrasco. The reception is supported by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library.

"City Light" Paintings by Allen Garns 7/17/2016 12:00:00 AM
"City Light" Paintings by Allen Garns
This collection of studio and plein-air paintings by Allen Garns captures familiar locations around Phoenix. At first glance it would seem that his paintings are all about buildings and cities, but Garns says he is actually more interested in the elements that make up the scene -- color, design, shape, contrasts and especially light and shadow.

Think your kids are too young to learn to code? Think again! Coding (also called programming or developing) is telling a computer, app, phone or website what you want it to do. Did you know that children can learn the foundations of coding and computer commands before they can write or spell? Join us for a fun Summer Camp where your kids learn to code!

Each week your child will learn a new lesson in coding! We'll use fun activities, apps and games to teach your child the fundamentals of the coding language.
It is important that parent and children attend every session of the 4 day series.
